1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Secuvy, Inc. (“Secuvy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) processes personal information through secuvy.ai, including when a visitor browses the website, contacts us, requests a demo, uses the calculator, registers interest in an event, or uses the website chatbot.
This Privacy Policy describes the information that we gather from you, how we use and disclose your information, and the steps we take to protect your information. By using the website and related offerings, you consent to the privacy practices described in this policy, and your use signifies that you accept the practices described here.
This Privacy Policy covers the public website and Secuvy’s related business outreach. It does not govern customer data that Secuvy processes through its enterprise platform on behalf of customers. Customer-controlled platform data is governed by the applicable customer agreement and data processing terms.
2. Information we collect
Depending on the interaction, we may collect:
- name, business email, phone number, company, job title, industry, and other professional information;
- messages, demo details, event availability, chatbot questions, feedback, and other information submitted to us;
- calculator assumptions, estimated costs, calculated values, and requested reports;
- page URLs, referrers, landing pages, clicks, scroll activity, session activity, form progress, chatbot activity, and campaign information;
- IP address, browser and device information, anonymous identifiers, session identifiers, and advertising click identifiers; and
- privacy, language, display, chatbot, and content-format preferences.
Please do not submit passwords, credentials, security vulnerabilities, regulated data, sensitive personal information, customer data, or confidential information through public forms or the chatbot.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- operate, secure, troubleshoot, measure, and improve the website;
- respond to requests, arrange demonstrations, provide reports, and conduct relevant one-to-one business follow-up;
- understand website engagement, campaign performance, and form activity;
- operate the chatbot and route unanswered questions for review;
- identify companies and potential business contacts that may be interested in Secuvy;
- comply with law, protect Secuvy and others, and enforce our terms; and
- support legitimate business transactions and operations.
Secuvy does not currently use website forms to enroll visitors in an automated newsletter or recurring email-marketing program.
Where EEA or UK law applies, Secuvy relies on consent for optional tracking where required, steps taken at a visitor’s request, legitimate interests in operating and securing the website and conducting proportionate business-to-business outreach, and legal obligations.
Your choices
You may choose to provide certain personal information to us or decline to provide it. See Section 9, Privacy choices and rights. You may update your preferences at any time.
Third-party services
Our website may contain features or links to websites and services provided by third parties. Any personal information you provide through a third-party site or service is provided directly to that third party and is subject to its privacy and security policies. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or security practices of third-party sites or services linked through our website. We encourage you to review their privacy and security policies before providing personal information.
4. Forms and direct communications
Website forms are processed through a service provider. A submission may include the information entered, the form name, page URL, submission time, the submitter’s IP address, and consented attribution context. Submissions are stored by the service provider and emailed to Secuvy’s marketing team. Secuvy does not currently route these submissions automatically to a customer relationship management system, email-marketing platform, team-messaging service, or another external integration.
Secuvy uses submitted contact information primarily for manual, one-to-one responses and business follow-up related to the visitor’s request or demonstrated interest.
5. Website analytics, cookies, and similar technologies
Secuvy uses cookies, local storage, session storage, scripts, and similar technologies to operate the website, remember visitor choices, provide requested features, measure website use, and understand campaign attribution. These technologies may process browser or device information, identifiers, page and interaction activity, referral information, campaign parameters, company information, business contact information, and information from public or third-party sources.
Service providers support website analytics and attribution. The information processed may include anonymous and session identifiers, optional identified user information, URL and referrer information, interaction events, timestamps, and server-side network information. Form-progress tracking is designed to record field names and completion state without recording the values typed into those fields.
When a visitor allows optional analytics, Secuvy may associate website activity with companies and potential business contacts, evaluate business interest, and prepare relevant one-to-one outreach. Secuvy reviews and sends outreach manually; service providers do not automatically send messages on Secuvy’s behalf through the website.
Visitors can reject optional analytics or change their choice through the website privacy-preferences control. Browser settings can also block or delete cookies and browser storage. Blocking functional storage may affect language, display, chatbot, video, or other requested features.
6. Chatbot
The website chatbot processes the visitor’s question, chatbot session identifier, current page URL and title, a page excerpt, retrieved Secuvy website context, the generated answer, answer status, source links, timestamps, and any optional work email provided. The visitor’s IP address is used as a short-lived rate-limit key.
Service providers support chatbot model generation, retrieval, reranking, request routing, observability, and storage. Chatbot conversation records are configured to expire after 90 days. Expired records are removed during subsequent writes. Unanswered questions may also be stored by a service provider and emailed to Secuvy for review.
Chatbot responses may be incomplete or inaccurate and are not legal, privacy, compliance, security, financial, purchasing, or other professional advice.
7. Disclosures
We may disclose personal information to the following recipients as reasonably necessary:
- service providers supporting website hosting, analytics, attribution, form storage, submission delivery, chatbot functions, scheduling, translation, or video;
- professional advisers, authorities, or transaction counterparties when required for legal, security, or corporate purposes; and
- another party at the visitor’s direction or with consent.
Secuvy does not currently route website submissions automatically to a customer relationship management system, newsletter platform, email-marketing platform, team-messaging service, or similar external integration.
Secuvy does not sell personal information, share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use website personal information for targeted advertising or profiling.
8. Retention
Secuvy keeps personal information only while it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, business follow-up, security, legal obligations, or dispute handling.
- Chatbot conversation records are configured for 90-day expiration.
- Session-storage values generally last for the browser tab or session.
- Local-storage values persist until removed or browser storage is cleared.
- Secuvy periodically reviews and deletes stale website submissions and outreach records.
- Retention of service-provider records may be governed by the provider’s settings and contract.
9. Privacy choices and rights
Visitors can reject optional analytics or change their choice through the website privacy-preferences control. Browser settings can also block or delete cookies and browser storage.
Depending on location, a person may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, withdraw consent, object to or restrict processing, appeal a denied request, or complain to a data-protection authority.
To submit a privacy request, email compliance@secuvy.com. Secuvy may verify identity and authority before completing a request and will not discriminate against a person for exercising an applicable privacy right.
10. International processing
Secuvy and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, Secuvy uses applicable contractual or other transfer safeguards.
11. Security, children, and changes
Secuvy uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and processing. No transmission or storage system is completely secure.
The website is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 16. If Secuvy learns that a child provided personal information, Secuvy will review and delete it as appropriate.
Secuvy may update this Privacy Policy when its practices or legal obligations change. The current version and effective date will be posted on the website.
